Howden Rides Again! Print E-mail

With some evening spring sunshine Howden Camera Club descended on the village of Rawcliffe on the first of our Summer outings with all members eager to capture that prize winning shot.  The added bonus for us was that the fair was in town so plenty of opportunity for those colourful action shots as well as views of the splendid church.

We are now looking forward to our next outing which takes to ‘The Delves’ in Thorne hopeful that the sun once again brings us something to challenge and excite us.

The last lecture of the Winter Season was by Peter Baker, who was due to visit us in January, but because of the bad weather had to postpone it until Monday night.

His subject was "A walk on the wild side"   His digital projected images were of foxes, badgers, and a variety of birds.  All photographed locally.  A very interesting programme to finish our season.

Now looking forward to the Summer Programme of Events.
